PNL recovery

MEXC PNL recovery: what it is and what it is not

Recovery here means new trades covering a recorded loss on the same account. It does not mean editing statistics, refunds from the exchange or a guaranteed percentage — none of those exist.

Three cases we see constantly

Desk with a trading terminal

A shallow loss, an abandoned account

The drawdown is modest but the owner lost interest. These recover fastest — there is little to fix beyond restarting the account systematically.

Monitors with market charts

A deep loss after a losing run

The classic: an attempt to win a small loss back turned it into a large one. This needs a long scenario and patience, not one decisive entry.

Phone with the exchange app

Several accounts at once

When the loss is spread across accounts, the temptation is to treat it as one number. Each account has its own history and needs its own scenario.

What a review covers

This is the free part, and the part that decides whether anything runs at all.

  • The real negative PNL reconciled against the figure you gave us
  • How much of the loss came from trades and how much from fees
  • How old the account is and what its futures history looks like
  • Limits, available instruments and the state of open positions
  • Whether a realistic scenario exists — and a plain no when it does not
  • A rough range for the length of a cycle

What the owner should do before writing

The same order whether you hold one account or five.

  1. Stop trying to win it back

The expensive half of a loss is usually added after the first drawdown, in the attempt to close it in one trade.

  2. Get the actual number

Not "quite a lot" — the real figure per account. Without it nobody can judge which scenario is possible.

  3. Decide if it is worth touching

Sometimes the account is better closed by its owner. The review exists to establish that before anything starts.

  4. Run it or hand it over

If the scenario holds you either run a cycle with us or hand the account over on rent or sale terms priced against the real size of the loss.

Questions about recovery

What people ask after reading the steps.

Can a negative PNL be zeroed out directly?
No. The figure is a record of closed trades and nobody rewrites it. It can only be covered by a new result on the same account, which is what a cycle is for.
Can we skip the review and launch straight away?
No. Without a review there is no scenario and no timeframe, and trading someone else’s account blind is bad for both sides. The review is shorter than people expect.
What counts as the result of a cycle?
The difference between the state of the account entering the cycle and leaving it, written into the summary so there is nothing to argue about at the split.
Can I stop after the first cycle?
Yes. Continuing is always the owner’s call — there are no automatic renewals.
Is there a loss too deep to recover?
There is. Some drawdowns have no realistic scenario left, and the review says so rather than selling you a cycle that cannot work.
